Not everyone walking into our Southside location needs a neurotoxin. Some people just need a good HydraFacial and a skincare routine, that's the honest truth. If your main concern is dullness, dehydration, or texture, a neurotoxin injection won't touch that. It only works on the muscle movement that causes certain wrinkles.
So who should wait? If you're pregnant or breastfeeding, this isn't the time. If you have a neuromuscular condition, our injectors need to know before anything happens. And if you've never had a neurotoxin before and you're nervous about looking frozen, we get it, that fear is common.
- Deep static wrinkles that show even at rest may need filler or Morpheus8 instead, not a neurotoxin alone
- Active skin infection or irritation at the injection site means we wait until it clears
- Unrealistic expectations about erasing every line completely, no injectable does that
- Certain allergies or sensitivities that haven't been discussed in a consultation yet

What to Expect Before and During Treatment
Your first visit starts with a real conversation, not a rushed sales pitch. Our team looks at your muscle movement, asks about your goals, and figures out where Daxxify will help versus where it won't. Some folks come in wanting their whole forehead smoothed out, others just want that one line between the brows softened. We map it out together.
- Consultation and facial assessment to identify target muscles
- A quick skin cleanse at the injection sites
- Small injections placed with a fine needle, usually five to fifteen points depending on the area
- A short recovery period in the treatment room, roughly ten to fifteen minutes total
- Aftercare instructions before you head out
The injections themselves are quick. Most clients say it feels like a series of small pinches, nothing dramatic. There's no sedation involved, so you're in and out and can drive yourself home. Some redness or small bumps at the injection sites are normal and usually fade within an hour.
