What EvolveX Body Sculpting Does

Quick Summary: EvolveX sessions start at $199

EvolveX uses radiofrequency heat and electrical muscle stimulation in the same session. The heat works on fat cells and loose skin, the muscle stimulation forces contractions your own workout can't match. Which setting we lean on depends on whether your concern is fat, skin laxity, or weak muscle underneath.

Most people walk in thinking this treatment is one thing. It isn't. It's two different tools running through the same platform, and they do completely different jobs.

The first is radiofrequency energy. We warm the fat layer and the skin above it in a controlled way. Heated fat cells break down over the following weeks, your body clears them out. That same heat tells the skin to make new collagen, so the surface tightens instead of going slack. The second tool is electrical muscle stimulation. Pads sit on the target area and fire thousands of contractions in a half hour session. Your abs or glutes work harder than they would in a gym class, without you lifting anything.

So here's the part nobody tells you. A soft midsection can be fat, it can be stretched skin, or it can be a muscle wall that never recovered after pregnancy or twenty years at a desk. Three different problems. Same appearance in the mirror.

  • Radiofrequency heat - stubborn subcutaneous fat and crepey, loose skin
  • Muscle stimulation - weak or separated abdominal muscle, flat glutes
  • Both together - the common case, where fat sits on top of untrained muscle

We see this every single week. Someone books for fat and their real issue is the muscle underneath. Or the reverse.

That's why we scan first with DEXA+ body composition scanning before we settle on a plan. Ten minutes gives us your fat percentage, lean muscle mass, and visceral fat. Now we're not guessing at what to heat and what to contract. We're reading it off a number.

Who Is a Strong Candidate for This Treatment

Here's the honest version. This treatment works best on people who are already close to where they want to be. You eat reasonably well. You move your body most weeks. But there's a soft spot at the lower belly, or your inner thighs won't firm up no matter what you do. That's the person who walks out happy.

We see this often. Someone comes in after a year of real effort, frustrated that one area didn't follow the rest of the body. It usually isn't a discipline problem, it's a tissue problem.

Good candidates usually share a few things:

  • A stable weight for a few months, not actively dropping fast
  • One or two stubborn areas rather than full-body concerns
  • Skin that has mild laxity, not heavy loose folds
  • Willingness to finish a full series instead of trying one session
  • No pacemaker, metal implants in the treatment area, or current pregnancy

Now the part nobody likes to say out loud. If you're 40 or 50 pounds from your goal, this isn't your first step. Fat reduction on a large scale needs a metabolic plan, not a contouring device. Our DEXA+ body scan can show you exactly how much of what you're carrying is visceral fat versus subcutaneous, and that number often changes the plan completely.

Also wait if you're mid-pregnancy, nursing, or just had abdominal surgery.

And if your main issue is significant loose skin after major weight loss, be careful. Radiofrequency tightening helps mild laxity. It won't remove hanging tissue. A surgical consult is the more honest answer there, and we'll tell you that in the room rather than sell you a package that can't deliver.

Not sure which group you fall into? That's genuinely common, and it's what the consult is for.

When Body Contouring Is Not the Right Fit

Here's the part most places skip. This treatment isn't right for everyone, and we'd rather tell you that in the consult than after you've paid for a package.

If you're more than 25 or 30 pounds from where you want to be, wait. Fat reduction and muscle toning work on shape, not on the scale. Get the weight moving first with a medical weight loss plan or a GLP-1 program, then come back and sculpt what's left. We see this every single week. Someone books six sessions hoping it replaces the hard part, and it doesn't.

Loose skin is the other big one.

Radiofrequency does firm tissue, but there's a limit. If you've lost 80 pounds or had multiple pregnancies and the skin hangs, contouring softens the look, it won't remove the extra. That's a surgical conversation, and we'll say so plainly.

Some people aren't candidates for medical reasons at all. That list isn't negotiable:

  • Pacemakers, defibrillators, or any implanted electronic device
  • Metal implants or hardware in the treatment area
  • Pregnancy or active breastfeeding
  • Current hernia in the abdominal wall
  • Active infection, open wound, or recent surgery in the area

And sometimes the answer is just not yet. If you don't know your visceral fat number or your lean muscle mass, you're guessing at what needs to change. A DEXA+ body composition scan takes about ten minutes and tells you exactly where you stand. Skip that step and you've got no honest way to judge whether the treatments worked.

Not sure which camp you're in? That's normal, and it's a five-minute answer once we look at you.

What Happens During Your Consultation and Sessions

Most people walk in expecting to get on a table right away. That's not how we start. The first visit is a conversation and a measurement, because we want to know what we're treating before any applicator touches your skin.

Is it loose skin? Muscle tone? Visceral fat sitting deep behind the abdominal wall? Those three problems look similar in a mirror and respond very differently to treatment.

  • We talk through your goals, your health history, and any recent weight changes or surgeries.
  • We take a baseline.  DEXA+ body composition scan gives us fat percentage, lean muscle mass, and visceral fat in about ten minutes.
  • We map the treatment zones and decide whether you're a fit for this treatment, or whether something else on the plan should come first.
  • On session day, you lie down fully clothed in comfortable wear, and we position the applicators over the target area.
  • The device runs its cycle while you rest. Radiofrequency warms the tissue and the muscle stimulation fires in waves.
  • You get up, get dressed, and go back to your day. No bandages, no recovery room.

What does it feel like? Warm, then a deep pulling sensation as the muscles contract. Strange the first time. Not painful. We stay in the room and adjust intensity as you get used to it, and plenty of folks tell us they'd rather be here than doing crunches.

Sessions get scheduled a few days apart, and we re-scan along the way. That's the part that keeps you honest, the tape measure and the scan don't care how you felt this morning.

Tracking Real Results with DEXA+ Body Composition Scanning

The scale lies. Not on purpose, but it can't tell you what changed. You can drop fat, add muscle from EvolveX, and see the same number for weeks. That's the moment most people quit.

So we don't start with the scale. We start with a DEXA+ body composition scan. It takes about ten minutes and gives us your body fat percentage, your lean muscle mass, your bone density, and your visceral fat. Visceral fat is the deep stuff around your organs. It's the kind you can't pinch, and it's the kind that matters most for long-term health. That scan becomes your baseline.

Then you run your EvolveX sessions. Then we scan again.

And this is where it gets interesting. We see this every single week. Someone comes in frustrated because their weight hasn't moved much, and the second scan shows lean mass up and fat down in the exact area we treated. Same body weight. Completely different body. They walk out standing a little straighter.

Wondering if the changes you feel are real or just in your head? That's a fair question, and it's exactly why we measure. Clothes fitting different is a clue. A scan is evidence.

Data also tells us when to adjust. If your muscle numbers climbed but fat barely moved, that points at nutrition and sleep, not the treatment. If visceral fat is stubborn, we talk about metabolic testing or a different pillar of care. Our team builds the plan around what the numbers say, not around what we hoped they'd say.

That's the whole point of the Be Still Blueprint. One body, one life, and a plan you can check your progress against.
